The relocated clinic will offer additional services and extended hours for clinical and urgent care

May 15, 2019

LAKEVILLE, Minn. – Park Nicollet broke ground on a new clinic location in Lakeville on Wednesday, May 1, less than one mile east of the clinic’s current location. The new facility will provide additional health care services, including urgent care, OB-GYN and eye care, and offer extended morning, evening and weekend hours for patients.

“We’re continuing to see rapid growth in the south metro, and we’re committed to meeting the changing health care needs of our patients and members in the community,” said Joan Sandstrom, vice president of primary care for Park Nicollet. “With our new Park Nicollet clinic in Lakeville, we’ll be able to provide care for more than 10,000 additional patients in the area and help even more people access the care they need when they need it.”

The new Lakeville facility at 18484 Kachina Court will be a standalone, 28,000-square-foot clinic – almost five times larger than its current space – adding 30 new staff and clinicians over the next five years. The additional space will also increase capacity to care for more patients at one location for health care services including family medicine, pediatrics, radiology, lab, urgent care, OB-GYN and eye care.

The $13.5 million project is expected to be complete in February 2020, with plans for a 12,000-square-foot expansion in the future.

This new facility is the second build in the south metro Park Nicollet has started within the last year to better serve the primary and specialty care needs of the community. In September 2018, Park Nicollet broke ground on an 83,000-square-foot specialty center in Burnsville.
