Patients with unintentional as well as intentional poisonings, of all ages, are seen. The fellowship is designed to provide experience in the clinical practice of medical toxicology and to provide a foundation for becoming educators, researchers, and administrators capable of practicing medical toxicology in academic and clinical settings. Fellows will also provide medical back-up to the MPCS. The program is open to physicians who have completed an ACGME accredited residency training in emergency medicine, pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine or preventive medicine and are board certified or eligible to sit for the board examination(s) in their respective specialties.<\/p>\n<div id=\"\" class=\"box border-darkblue bg-light-gray \" \/>\n<h2>Fellowship program application<\/h2>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Requirements:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Physicians who have completed training in an ACGME accredited Residency (usually Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine or Pediatrics)<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States<\/li>\n<li>Board certified or board eligible in respective specialty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Regions Hospital Toxicology Fellowship participates in the NRMP match.
