Each presentation might include details on schooling\/program, requirements, getting into practice\/the work force, salary and what a typical day is like for an orthopedic specialist at TRIA. We will also touch base on TRIA\u2019s philosophy on patient-centered care, learn about a few of our unique programs, and even view a previously recorded ACL reconstruction surgery.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">This is a free virtual program for students 16 and older.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Upcoming Program Dates<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>June 15, 2026 | 9:00am &#8211; 12:30pm &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/reg.learningstream.com\/reg\/event_page.aspx?ek=0037-0016-335ed3335aa545638551855cae85b169\">Register by June 10th<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Program details will be sent a few days before program date. After attending the TRIA Day in the Life program, you will receive an evaluation of this course. We would really appreciate you taking the time to let us know your thoughts.<\/p>\n<h3>Program Goals<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide a general introduction to TRIA and the orthopedic profession<\/li>\n<li>Detail educational requirements for 3-5 orthopedic careers<\/li>\n<li>Provide a sneak peek into a day in the life of our specialists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Careers covered*<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Athletic Trainer<\/li>\n<li>Nurse Practitioner<\/li>\n<li>Physical Therapist<\/li>\n<li>Physician (including Medical School, Residency, Fellowship)<\/li>\n<li>Physician Assistant<\/li>\n<li>Radiology Technologist<\/li>\n<li>Registered Nurse<\/li>\n<li>Surgical Technologist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*Topics are subject to change<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Observation After the Program<\/h3>\n<p>This program is required prior to an observation at any of our locations. Observation is coordinated following program attendance and we will do everything we can to accommodate the observation within six months. You will be required to create an account and profile in our observer database platform and complete the mandatory onboarding tasks prior to the scheduled experience<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Fee<\/h3>\n<p>There is no charge to attend this program. For those under 18 years of age, our registration process requires obtaining parent\/guardian approval prior to signing up for the program. Entering your parent\/guardian contact number confirms you have received their approval to attend the course.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Testimonials<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;I learned the difference between the positions, the importance of shadowing many different jobs, and what it actually looks like to go through med school, residency and that entire process.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I learned all the steps and degrees needed to become a certified Nurse, the daily hours that a physical therapist works, how a surgeon looks inside of a body when performing surgery, and what a fellowship is and how to earn one.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I learned that each specialty has their own pros and cons.
