Appointments are available across the Twin Cities, with quick results to help you rest easier.

Preparing for a Mammogram

The day of your mammogram, do not use deodorant, lotion, powder or perfumes under your arms or on your breasts. These may create shadows on your mammogram.

When making your appointment, be sure to mention if you have breast implants. Extra pictures may be needed to be sure all the breast tissue can be seen.

If you have had a mammogram at a non-HealthPartners facility, have the x-ray films sent to our clinic to be compared with the new mammogram.

Mammogram Results

Your mammogram results will be read within 24 hours and the results will be sent in the mail as early as 48 hours after your appointment. It may take up to two weeks to receive your results.

If your previous mammogram films are at a facility other than HealthPartners, it may take more than two weeks to get your results.

If you are signed up for myHealthPartners, your results will file to your account within five days after your mammogram is read.

For questions about your results, please contact your doctor.
