Career

Dr. Schned has been a rheumatologist at the Park Nicollet Clinic since 1981. He served as department chair in the 1980s and 1990s. He chaired the Clinical Board of Governors at Park Nicollet Health Services for 15 years, served on the PNHS Board of Directors for several terms, and served on the Park Nicollet Institute Board of Directors. He is active in the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and has served on the Board of Directors of the ACR as well as the Board of Directors of the ACR-Research and Education Foundation. He is the recipient of the Paulding Phelps Award, issued by the American College of Rheumatology. In 2015 he was named Master by the American College of Rheumatology.

Personal

Dr. Schned lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Nancy Edwards Schned. He has three adult children. He enjoys bicycling, hiking, international traveling, and reading.
