HealthPartners announces new board chair, members

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – HealthPartners today announced the election of new board chair, Amy Langer, as well as new board members, Katie Kelley and Paul Williams. Langer will serve as the HealthPartners, Inc. and Group Health Plan, Inc. board chair through 2022.

Langer was first elected as a HealthPartners board member in 2017, most recently serving as the quality committee and sub-committee chair. She is co-founder of Salo, LLC, a professional services company with offices in Minneapolis and Chicago, and has been recognized locally and nationally for her leadership in health care business.

“As board chair, I am committed to guiding HealthPartners to provide quality, affordable health care to all people in our community and creating a positive impact on people’s lives,” said Langer. “The value of good health guides me as a mother, entrepreneur and health care advocate, and I believe that good mental and physical health is central to building strong communities.”
