Career
Paul Williams is the recently retired President and CEO of Project for Pride in Living, Inc. (PPL), one of Minnesota’s premier multi-service community development organizations. PPL builds and manages affordable housing for thousands across the Twin Cities as well as providing job training skills for lower income, marginally skilled workers. Prior to joining PPL, Paul served as St. Paul’s Deputy Mayor, where his deep passion for economic opportunity, community building and diversity, equity and inclusion flourished.
In addition to serving on the HealthPartners board, Paul also serves as Deputy Chair of the Minneapolis 9th District Federal Reserve board and Board Secretary for Destination Medical Center in Rochester. He is an Executive Leadership Council member for the Itasca Project and previously served on the boards of the Minnesota Ballpark Authority, the St. Paul Port Authority and the F.R. Bigelow Foundation.
