Career
Paul Williams is president and CEO of Project for Pride in Living, Inc. (PPL). PPL is one of Minnesota’s premier multi-service community development organizations, building and managing affordable housing for thousands across the Twin Cities, as well as providing job training skills for lower income, marginally-skilled workers. Paul provides strategic day-to-day leadership to PPL, while also providing leadership in a variety of civic and policy arenas across the community. Prior to joining PPL, Paul served as St. Paul’s deputy mayor, where his deep passion for economic opportunity, community building and diversity, equity and inclusion flourished.
In addition to serving on the HealthPartners board, Paul also serves on the boards of the Minneapolis’ 9th District Federal Reserve and the Destination Medical Center in Rochester. Paul also previously served on the boards of the Minnesota Ballpark Authority, the St. Paul Port Authority and the F.R. Bigelow Foundation.
