Because health happens outside the doctor’s office

We are 26,000 people who believe in the power of good – of good deeds, good feelings and good people working together. Because when you have a true partner in health, you’re empowered.

Getting good care in a clinic or hospital is important. But, it’s only a small part of what makes us healthy. Health also has to do with a good education, a good environment and a good community. That’s why we’re committed to working with those who are making good happen all around us.

Six ways we make good happen Annual report

Founded in 1957, HealthPartners is the largest consumer-governed, nonprofit health care organization in the nation providing health care, health plan financing and administration, and medical research and education. You’ll find some of our most important and innovative work in our annual report.

HealthPartners is committed to caring for the places where we live and work so we can provide a healthier, cleaner, and more livable environment for our employees, members, patients and future generations.

  • As environmental stewards we are committed to:
  • Expanding the use of sustainable and earth-friendly practices that help us work smarter, be healthier and save money
  • Encouraging employees to participate in and champion or support sustainability practices, both at work and at home
  • Measuring and monitoring our progress toward our sustainability goals
  • Leading, advocating and implementing initiatives that improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve
