The 5-Star Medicare Advantage plans will be available in 16 counties in Northeast Wisconsin for 2023

October 6, 2022

GREEN BAY, Wisc. – For the second year in a row, HealthPartners Robin Medicare Advantage plans have been awarded an overall 5 out of 5-Star Rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for 2023. The top rating from CMS places HealthPartners Robin as one of the highest rated Medicare plans in the nation, providing excellence in care, coverage and service to its Medicare members.

“We’re proud to be consistently recognized for the quality coverage, care and service we provide to our members,” said Mark Matzke, HealthPartners Robin vice president of health solutions. “These ratings are a testament to our teams who work hard to achieve top performance that improves the health and well-being of those we serve.”

“Our top ratings from CMS show the strength of our partnership between HealthPartners, Bellin Health and ThedaCare to offer a coordinated care experience for our patients,” Chris Woleske, president and CEO of Bellin Health. “Together, our combined care and coverage helps advance our shared goal to achieve better health outcomes, more affordable care and overall improved experience for our patients.”

CMS publishes Star Ratings each year to measure health plan performance and quality of care and services for Medicare enrollees. Plans are rated between 1 and 5 stars – with 5 stars indicating excellent performance – after evaluating a series of measures including quality of care, member experience and customer service. Medicare consumers can use Star Ratings when shopping for a plan during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, or when they become eligible for Medicare. 5-star plans are also eligible for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP), allowing members to switch their plans one time between Dec. 8, 2022, and Nov. 30, 2023.

The 5-star Robin Medicare Advantage plans will be available in 16 counties in northeast Wisconsin in 2023, including Door County for the first time.
