HealthPartners believes in recognizing outstanding colleagues. The President’s and Wilbur Thomas Community Service Awards recognize exceptional employees working in partnership, nominated by their peers.
One of the 2012 winners of the President’s Award was the Health Informatics team. This team worked for a year to get the National Quality Forum (NQF), a national group that works to improve health care in the U.S., to endorse the HealthPartners method of measuring health care affordability. It was the first set of affordability standards ever endorsed by the NQF.
