Regions Hospital Foundation names new vice president

Tony Grundhauser will be responsible for the foundation’s activities, board of directors’ meetings, and advancing the HealthPartners mission to improve health and well-being in partnership with its members, patients and community.

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Regions Hospital today announced that Tony Grundhauser will serve as the new vice president of the Regions Hospital Foundation. Grundhauser begins this week and will be responsible for the foundation’s activities, board of directors’ meetings, and advancing the HealthPartners mission to improve health and well-being in partnership with its members, patients and community.

Grundhauser, a lifelong St. Paul resident, has more than 25 years of philanthropy leadership experience and has led all aspects of fundraising, including major and planned gifts, corporate and foundation giving, public grants, marketing and communications, and event management. In his career, Grundhauser has led philanthropy for the Minnesota Zoo Foundation, Hamline University and The Nature Conservancy.

“Tony brings vast experience that will benefit our hospital and community,” Regions Hospital President Megan Remark said. “We are excited to welcome him to Regions.”

The Regions Hospital Foundation is currently focused on fundraising efforts in areas such as cancer care and research, emergency center and trauma care, mental health and neuroscience to enhance its mission and maximize its impact on important health care issues.
