Glucose Levels Across Maternity (GLAM)

Location: Park Nicollet Women’s Center, St. Louis Park
Purpose of study: We are recruiting healthy pregnant women (ages 18 and older), who are being seen at the Women’s Center in St. Louis Park, to participate in a study to determine how blood sugars (glucose levels) during pregnancy affect the health of the mother and child. The Women’s Center is partnering with the International Diabetes Center at Park Nicollet on collecting this important glucose information. The study will continue for the remainder of your pregnancy.
-Are currently pregnant with one baby
-Are less than 17 weeks pregnant
-Are at least 18 years old and English speaking
-Do not have diabetes
-Meet other study specific criteria
The MILk Study (Mothers and Infants Linked for Healthy Growth)

Location: University of Minnesota
Purpose of study: The MILk study is being done to learn more about how breastmilk and diet affects a baby’s growth and microbiome. The study is being offered to women who are receiving prenatal care at a HealthPartners, Park Nicollet, or Stillwater Medical Group clinic and have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes.
