Specialty differences in recognizing and managing elevated blood pressures among children and adolescents [presentation] Presentation uri icon
Overview
abstract
  • Recognizing hypertension among children and adolescents is difficult because blood pressure (BP) cutoff values rely on a complicated algorithm including age, sex, and height percentile. We sought to evaluate whether attitudes and self-reported practices regarding recognition and management of elevated blood pressures varied by clinician type and specialty.
