Dr. Amundson specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine. In the hospital, he works in the intensive care unit, and treats critically ill patients. In the clinic, he treats patients with all types of pulmonary disease, but he is particularly interested in interstitial lung diseases and working to create personalized treatments for patients with asthma and COPD. He strives to partner with his patients to help them understand their diagnoses and guide them through treatment. Breathing is something most people don’t have to think much about, but when lung disease is present, it can drastically affect a patient’s quality of life. As a pulmonologist, Dr. Amundson hopes to help my patients improve control of their disease so they can live life to the fullest.
