October 23, 2023

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Three HealthPartners Medicare Advantage (MA) plans received an overall 4.5 out of 5-Star Rating, including 5 out of 5-Stars for customer service, from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for 2024. HealthPartners Journey (PPO), HealthPartners Robin (PPO) and HealthPartners UnityPoint Health (PPO) MA plans received the 4.5 Star rating.

“The ratings from CMS reflect the dedication we have to supporting members and delivering on our promise to provide high quality, affordable coverage,” said Jennifer Danielson, HealthPartners chief health plan officer. “These strong ratings are a testament to our teams who work hard to ensure we’re a trusted partner in improving the health and well-being of those we serve.”

CMS publishes Star Ratings each fall to measure the quality of health and drug services received by Medicare enrollees in MA plans. CMS bases its ratings on several clinical and performance measures including administration of care, management of chronic conditions, member experience, plan performance and customer service.

In addition to the support of a knowledgeable, 5-Star customer service team, HealthPartners offers Medicare Advantage plans in Minnesota and Medicare options in Wisconsin that include:

  • Monthly premiums and primary care copays starting at $0.
  • A prepaid Choice Card with money to spend on non-Medicare covered chiropractic services, prescription eyewear, hearing aids and home-delivered meals. The Choice Card can also be used for over-the-counter items through our select vendor with Robin Birch and Maple plans.
  • $1,000 to $2,250 dental benefit allowance for comprehensive and preventive services.
