About

Dr. Kester is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained neuro-oncologist specializing in the treatment of adults with central and peripheral nervous system tumors. He also manages neurologic complications of systemic tumors and cancer therapies. The cornerstone of his practice is a patient-centered philosophy and team-based approach that incorporates a high degree of compassion, kindness, respect and humanness. He treats his patients as if they are his friend or family, and believes this partnership is fundamental for holistic care. Dr. Kester addresses complex issues honestly yet with optimism. His goal is to provide cutting-edge treatment for brain tumor patients and, where possible, offer promising clinical trials outside of conventional therapy. The cancer journey can be a challenging, scary and emotional experience for some patients and families. Many patients with brain tumors have a poor understanding of their prognosis and life expectancy. He enjoys spending time and connecting with patients and families to guide them through the cancer care trajectory.
