- Contracting and credentialing
Follow these four steps to join the HealthPartners network.
If you’re a health care practitioner or facility and would like to join our network, please complete the contracting application.
Once you’ve been offered a contract, or if you have or your organization already has a contract, you can begin the credentialing process.
We’ll email you a list of additional information to complete the process, including a W-9 and disclosure of ownership.
You’ll need a portal account to start seeing HealthPartners members. You can manage your data, verify member eligibility and benefits, and more.
Contracting is the process of getting an agreement to work with the HealthPartners network.
Facility credentialing is the formal process of ensuring network facilities and vendors are compliant with quality and care delivery criteria.
Credentialing is the process of evaluating and verifying a medical, behavioral health or dental practitioner’s qualifications to participate as a provider with HealthPartners.
HealthPartners doesn’t credential certain types of practitioners. Instead, these practitioners are enrolled with us to bill and receive reimbursement.
