HealthPartners, Inc. Board of Directors election

HealthPartners is a mission-driven, nonprofit organization that strives to improve health and well-being in partnership with members, patients and the community. For nearly 70 years, HealthPartners has provided members with health support, award-winning care, personalized health insurance plans and innovative research. Our goal is to make health care and coverage simple and affordable.

The HealthPartners Board of Directors is largely comprised of consumers – people who receive health care, coverage or both through HealthPartners. Our Board provides oversight to ensure that HealthPartners leadership continues to focus on what is most important to those we serve. Our Board members also seek to ensure that HealthPartners remains successful in the future.

Board members are elected to three-year terms and are eligible to serve a total of three terms. These term limits ensure that we’re able to balance the benefits of experience and organizational knowledge with fresh perspectives. We know that having a strong and committed Board of Directors is important.

This year there are four nominees for your approval – three incumbents (returning Board members) and one new candidate. In selecting this group, the Board considered skills and experiences that will best enable the Board to guide HealthPartners in the coming years. The Board reviews self-nominees in its candidate selection process, as well. For more information on self-nomination, visit our leadership webpage. We believe these four nominees will serve our membership and organization well.
