Career

Dr. Jerome Siy is Sr. Medical Director for Value-based Care and Home and Community Services for HealthPartners Care Group. He holds an appointment of Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine and Lecturer in the Executive Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Siy obtained his medical degree from Mayo Medical School and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Siy is a practicing hospitalist for the past 25 years. His role includes leadership for value-based care at HealthPartners and for the Home and Community services division. He previously led the HealthPartners adult and pediatric hospital medicine program at 12 hospitals in Minnesota and Wisconsin, spearheading many care group innovations including hospital at home and telemedicine. Dr. Siy has also served on the Regions Hospital and Hudson Hospital boards of directors, serving on both finance and quality committees.

In 2018, Dr. Siy joined the Society of Hospital Medicine board of directors and became President of the board in 2021. He is an active member having served on many committees, including practice management where he was committee chair for several years. He was recently honored with the Master designation for his contributions to the field of hospital medicine and health care as a whole.

Dr. Siy completed his Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and was honored with the MHA Outstanding Student Award upon graduation. Prior recognitions include being named to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal's 40 under 40 and SHM's Award for Clinical Excellence.
