
Sherri Broderius

Career
Sherri has worked in education first as a classroom educator. Then she spent 25 years in what she calls her “favorite job of all time,” high school principal. She retired from education leadership after working as a superintendent in two rural school districts in western Minnesota. She continues to work as a consultant to several school district leaders in southern Minnesota.
Highlights of Sherri’s career in education include while working at Atwater Cosmos Grove City Public School the district achieved National Blue Ribbon School status through the Minnesota Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Education. Additionally, Sherri led two districts to approve operating levy funding from voters on several occasions.
Sherri enjoys spending time on the lake, traveling, reading nonfiction and spending time anywhere with her children and two new grandchildren. She serves her rural faith community through service in finance and property decision making and works with her husband, Rick, on their 2,200 acre vegetable and crop farm in Renville County. Sherri has also served as a board member for HealthPartners Olivia Hospital & Clinic since 2016.
