What people are saying about myGenetics

We believe in the power of shared experiences. Understanding your genetics not only gives you personalized information about your health, but it can help improve the quality of health care for your community. See how myGenetics, a community health research study, has helped real patients and their families by giving them a detailed picture of their DNA.

Emma is adopted and doesn’t have any health history from her biological family. She enrolled in myGenetics to learn more about her hereditary health risks for the first time. Through her participation, she gained peace of mind for herself and her baby.

As an internist and a pediatrician, Dr. Yang understands just how important genetics are when it comes to health care. She decided to participate in myGenetics to learn more about any hereditary health risks in her family and to find out more about her Hmong heritage. What she learned empowered her to take more control over her health.

This study is open to new and established HealthPartners and Park Nicollet patients who are 18 and older, have not received a stem cell transplant or a bone marrow transplant from a donor, and are able to complete an in-person visit to provide a blood or saliva sample. You can join myGenetics with your HealthPartners online account. If you don’t have an online account with us, you’ll need to create one in order to join.
