As an OB-GYN with HealthPartners Center for Women, I know that patients make the best decisions about their care when they are well-informed about medical conditions. My patients span the age spectrum from adolescence to menopause, and we are constantly learning from each other. Conversations about contraception, labor and delivery, bleeding issues and various surgical procedures are always enhanced when patients have accurate and useful information. This includes all types of OB-GYN care, from bringing babies into the world to facing challenging, high-risk issues in obstetrics and vaginal surgery. In short, I’m passionate about patient education as a way to support optimal patient care.
