    About me

I’m a social worker and psychotherapist who serves as Manager of Patient Support and Education for Cancer Care at HealthPartners. I provide counseling and crisis support to patients receiving cancer treatment, as well as their families and caregivers. This includes helping them find and make use of available resources. I also work with patients to teach relaxation techniques, symptom management methods and other strategies to help with effective treatment. I do all this as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team of cancer care specialists, and my role includes developing educational opportunities for members of the team to continuously build the organization’s knowledge base for the delivery of the highest quality care.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and relaxing on my porch.
