Corey Melby is the supervisor and clinic coordinator for the Park Nicollet Bariatric Surgery & Weight Center at Methodist Hospital. The patients seen there inspire Corey. She says they often come to the clinic vulnerable and nervous, but motivated for change. Being able to support and help guide them while they strive for better health is something that motivates her daily and makes her love her job. She also says she’s incredibly lucky to work with the team that she does. Everyone is valued and invested in the goals of the program. And Corey says that commitment to provide the best care for patients helps drive Park Nicollet’s Weight Center to the next level. Outside of work, spending time with her family is Corey’s top priority. She has twin girls who like to keep her and her husband busy. She also enjoys reading, cooking and staying active.
