    About HealthPartners content

HealthPartners is a nonprofit health care organization that provides an integrated system of patient care, insurance coverage and research initiatives. Our care group includes more than 1,800 clinicians, offering over 50 specialties and serving more than 1.2 million patients annually. We also serve more than 1.8 million medical and dental insurance plan members, and our health care professionals are involved with more than 350 research studies every year.

Our blog content is developed, reviewed and maintained by subject matter experts who are committed to clinical accuracy, up-to-date research, clarity and overall quality. We write blogs to help further our mission of improving health and well-being in partnership with our members, patients and the community.

People with health concerns or questions about insurance coverage greatly benefit from accurate information designed to make health topics more understandable. We help direct readers on how and when to seek affordable care by answering common questions, and explaining medical conditions or insurance coverage in clear terms. Though our articles are not a substitute for personalized medical advice, they are created to help people have more informed conversations with their care team, or to understand what insurance may cover.

Our content is created through collaboration between experienced health writers, editors, doctors and other clinical experts. The process is designed to ensure accuracy. Each post is created with input from and thoroughly reviewed by appropriate experts, using a process that always utilizes the current research available.

HealthPartners places a high value on health equity and community engagement, and we are strongly committed to the accessibility of useful, accurate health information. This helps us align and partner with the communities we serve, building trust and improving health outcomes for all.
