Meet Bret C. Haake, MD
I am a board-certified neurologist with an interest in the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. I am most interested in those disorders that affect the brain such as stroke, dementia, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and epilepsy. I also enjoy coming to a correct diagnosis in patients with weakness, numbness, dizzy spells, confusion, incoordination or abnormal movements.
I trained at the University of Minnesota and have a strong background in clinical neurology. I have led programs in stroke, Parkinson's disease, dementia, multiple sclerosis and pain. I am also interested in optimizing the delivery of health care to maximize the service that patients receive while also improving the quality of care. Lastly, I am actively involved in teaching other health care professionals to be the best caregivers they can be.

More about me
I always wanted to help people and figure out how the brain worked.
They can expect optimal care and timely service. If I cannot fully deliver on the care needed, I will find someone else who can help as well.
I love spending time with my family; I am married and have four children. I also love to fish.
Fishing, sleeping well and staying active.

Individual patients and colleagues telling me that I am doing a good job.
I believe that illness is very disruptive and patients deserve great care to help ease their suffering.
