Specialized physical therapy for alleviating neck and back pain

Chronic neck and back pain can affect your entire life. It can keep you from your job, enjoying a drive or simply playing with your kids. But you don’t need to let chronic neck and back pain stop you from doing the things you love. Lasting relief starts with getting help from the physical therapists at TRIA Neck and Back Strengthening Program, formerly known as the Physicians Neck and Back Center (PNBC).

We specialize in treating the most difficult cases of neck and back pain. Our program works by creating a physical therapy plan that’s completely unique to you. We use the only FDA registered medical strengthening equipment proven to help you improve your spinal fitness and reduce pain without surgery.

With over 30 years of experience treating chronic neck and back pain, we’re proud to have helped thousands of people find their way to relief. It is possible to move comfortably again, and we’ll be by your side to help you recover.

How our Neck and Back Strengthening Program works

During your first visit, you’ll meet with one of our physical therapists. We’ll perform a physical exam, talk with you about your symptoms and ask questions about your medical history. Typically, we may recommend a spinal strength evaluation. During this evaluation, you’ll be seated in specialized equipment designed to safely isolate your muscles. We’ll ask you to use different muscles so we can measure your strength and get a better understanding of your overall spinal fitness.

If it turns out that you could benefit from this program, we’ll create a personalized physical therapy plan just for you. This plan will include specialized exercises that use medical-grade exercise equipment designed to target specific muscles that support your spine.

In most cases, you’ll have physical therapy twice a week for 6-12 weeks. During that time, you’ll get hands-on care and training from our physical therapy team. Then, you’ll transition to a home program. And if you want to keep using specialized exercise equipment, you may decide to join TRIA CORE.

TRIA CORE

TRIA CORE, formerly PNBC CORE, was created for people who have reached their goals with the TRIA Neck and Back Strengthening Program and would like to continue using specialized exercise equipment to help maintain their spinal strength. Maintaining spinal fitness can prevent back pain in the future. That way, you can work, play and live your life to the fullest.

With TRIA CORE, you’ll continue strength training and exercises tailored to your needs. TRIA CORE members usually do 20 to 30-minute strengthening sessions twice a week. Just like at a gym, members can use our exercise equipment without an appointment.

TRIA CORE members pay an out-of-pocket monthly membership fee – you may be able to use your flex spending account or medical savings account. You may also be able to get a wellness reimbursement through your insurer.
