Physical therapy volunteer opportunities
Gain valuable experience at TRIA
TRIA is committed to advancing orthopedic and sports medicine. This includes helping future medical professionals develop the skills and experience needed to provide exceptional patient care.
We are proud to offer a limited number of volunteer opportunities to pre-physical therapy undergraduate college students who need to accumulate volunteer hours to apply to a Physical Therapy Doctoral program.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accommodate undergraduate physical therapy internships or shadowing experiences for credit.
Physical therapy volunteer requirements
To qualify for a physical therapy volunteer opportunity at TRIA, you must:
- Be an undergraduate or a graduated pre-physical therapystudent who needs to accumulate hours toward a physical therapy school application.
- Be able to commit to both of the following: 1) at least 10 weeks of volunteering, and 2) a minimum of 50 total hours. In order for TRIA to verify volunteer hours, you must agree to and fulfill both time requirements.
All volunteers will be required to complete volunteer orientation and a health assessment, as well as undergo a background check prior to starting their first shift.
