Biennial Ruby Red Gala
The Hutchinson Health Foundation Gala is a biennial event including fundraising, food and fun. The next gala will be at the Crow River Winery on November 21, 2026.
During our 2024 Ruby Red Gala, we raised funds to support our Emergency Center Expansion and Renovation Campaign. This vital project will allow us to better serve our community's evolving needs. With an expanded and modernized facility, we will be equipped to handle increased patient volumes, enhance privacy and comfort, provide safe spaces for our behavioral health patients and optimize workflow for our dedicated medical teams. Thanks to our donors, we were able to raise around $200,000! As the region's leading health care provider, our commitment to delivering exceptional care has never been stronger.
Stroll for Hope
We are excited to once again partner with Stroll for Hope to support local cancer care on Friday, August 1, 2025 at the Crow River Winery. This partnership will celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost and fight back as a community against this disease.
New this year, we have patient assistance grants to help assist local cancer patients who are currently receiving care for a cancer diagnosis. These grants will help with financial burdens that a cancer diagnosis can sometimes cause. If you or a loved one is interested in applying for this grant, please fill out the application linked below.

Family Fun Night
Save the date for our 3rd Annual Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree Family Fun Night on Thursday, December 4, 2025! This free event will feature DJ music, hot chocolate and cookies, Santa and Mrs. Claus along with other holiday characters, a toy drive for McLeod County and more! Our local businesses will once again be sponsoring our door prizes and participating in a tree decorating contest. Bring the whole family and enjoy a night of holiday cheer with the community!

Scramble for Life Golf Tournament
Our annual Scramble for Life Golf Tournament at the Crow River Country Club continues to grow each year, becoming one of our most important (and competitive) events. Proceeds for 2025 will continue to support our foundation programs like our scholarships and community grants.
Our next Scramble for Life Golf Tournament takes place on August 11, 2025.

Share N’ Care Dinner
Our longest running event, the annual Share N’ Care Dinner celebrates and supports hospice care within our community. A warm evening of socializing, dinner and entertainment will feature Guest Chef Miha from Bait & Hook and the musical talents of Josie Sanken at the Crow River Golf Club.
This event is on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the Crow River Golf Club with social hour starting at 6:00 pm. Dinner and program will follow thereafter.
Pizza Party in the Park
We are teaming up this year with local favorites Jimmy's Pizza of Hutchinson and Below Zero to enjoy pizza or chicken and your favorite frozen treats, all while supporting our scholarship fund. This event is family friendly and will take place at Library Square on May 28, 2025.
Barrick Charity Golf Classic
The 7th Annual Barrick Charity Golf Classic will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the beautiful Crow River Golf Club. Registration opens at noon with a shotgun start at 2 p.m. There will be an afterparty beginning at 6 p.m. that includes dinner and live music.
This event is organized by the Barrick family as a way to pay tribute to their father, James, who lost his battle with depression and anxiety in 1996. Proceeds from this event will support the inpatient Mental Health Unit at Hutchinson Health, with a goal of creating an outdoor courtyard to provide solace and comfort for patients during their recovery journey.
There are numerous ways to support the event, including hole sponsorships, silent auction, or raffle donations. If you have questions, email
