Sick. Click. Cured.

Getting access to care 24/7 is important. virtuwell is our online clinic and you can get care anytime. (This link takes you away from our Medicare site.) Nurse practitioners diagnose and treat common medical conditions like colds, sore throats, sinus infections and more.

The best part? You can get the diagnosis you need without leaving home. If a prescription is needed, it’ll be sent to your pharmacy.

Not all doctors and clinics are set up to do the services described below. If you’re interested, ask your doctor if remote access technology is an option.

Difference between online, phone and video visits

E-visits

Electronic visits (also called e-visits) are an easy way to communicate with your doctor about your health care needs using your computer. You can get non-urgent medical advice from your health care provider without making a trip to the clinic. No need to worry – online visits are confidential. The visits use a secure, encrypted website.

Phone visits

Scheduled telephone visits are another way to save time. A scheduled telephone visit involves an assessment or evaluation over the phone between you and your doctor.

Real-time interactive audio and video technologies

Secure, real-time consultations between patients and network providers to diagnose and treat some conditions.

Prefer meeting in person? That’s okay.

Prefer going to the doctor’s office for care? Using online services is optional. You always have the option to see your provider in person. But online care is here – if you need it.
