President, Methodist Hospital

Career

Jennifer is the president of Methodist Hospital and Vice President of Home Care, Hospice and Community Senior Care. She also oversees our Western Minnesota partnerships in Hutchinson and Olivia.

Before joining HealthPartners in November 2018, Jennifer spent nearly 10 years with Allina Health as the president of Buffalo Hospital. There she was known as a leader committed to excellent performance and strong partnerships within the organization and throughout the community.

Previously, Jennifer served as the specialty service line leader at Park Nicollet from 2002-2009, with responsibility for heart and vascular, cancer care, the International Diabetes Center, mental health, radiology, lab, pharmacy and rehabilitation services. Her background also includes 12 years at Mayo Clinic as a leader for a number of specialty and primary care service lines.

Personal

Jennifer lives in Excelsior and has three children who are now young adults. She and her kids are active in Special Olympics where she serves as a unified athlete, coach and biggest fan for her daughter Camille and her teammates. Jennifer and her family enjoy waterskiing in the summer and downhill skiing in the winter, as well as running and hiking with her dogs. She remains active in the MHA program at the U of M, serving as a mentor, internship preceptor and curriculum advisor. She also is a faculty advisor for the University of St. Thomas MBA program. Jennifer is on the board of the American Red Cross, the LifeSource Clinical Policy Board and serves on the patient safety committee of the Minnesota Hospital Association.
