Get ready to enroll in MSHO

The HealthPartners Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO) plan combines Medical Assistance and Medicare into one simple plan. You can apply for our MSHO plan at any time. If you qualify, you can have our MSHO coverage as soon as next month.

To enroll in our HealthPartners MSHO plan, you must be at least 65 years old. You must also:

  • Be a United States citizen or lawfully present in the United States.
  • Get Medical Assistance without a medical spenddown.
  • Have Medicare Parts A and B – If you were getting Social Security benefits when you turned 65, you were automatically enrolled in Medicare. If you don’t have Medicare yet, you can enroll in Medicare online.
  • Live in our MSHO service area – Our plan is available in Anoka, Benton, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Stearns, Washington and Wright counties.

We’ll guide you through the application process. If you qualify, you can enroll as soon as next month.

From Oct. 1 through March 31, we take calls 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT, seven days a week. From April 1 through Sept. 30, we take calls 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT, Monday – Friday.
