LAKEVIEW EXPANSION PLANS
A new HealthPartners Lakeview Hospital and HealthPartners Specialty Center
Beginning mid-July, construction crews will build a roundabout at 62nd St. N. and Manning Avenue and connect it to Curve Crest Boulevard next to our new hospital location.
This work is expected to last about 10 to 11 weeks, with roads fully reopening and transferred to the City of Stillwater in early October, depending on weather and construction progress.
We know construction can be disruptive, and we appreciate your patience as we complete these important safety and access improvements for the community.

Before construction begins

Construction is about 23 percent complete, with structural work moving into its final phase and exterior progress underway, including roofing at the central utility plant and framing at key areas like the emergency department and clinic.
Construction on our new location is in progress now and is expected to be completed by early 2028. We continue to partner with the community at every step of the way. We’re grateful for your feedback, which has helped shape this vision, and for the opportunity to build a new hospital and specialty center that will serve our growing region for generations to come.
HealthPartners hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Lakeview Hospital on July 10, marking the next phase of our commitment to advancing health care in the St. Croix Valley.
We’re excited to create the new HealthPartners Lakeview Hospital and HealthPartners Specialty Center with and for our community. We look forward to your involvement every step of the way, from the design phase to the grand opening. Your feedback and donations will allow us to expand the types of care and services we provide to Stillwater, neighboring Minnesota cities and western Wisconsin.
