Patient Billing & Financial Support
We’re here to help you understand your bill and insurance coverage. The Billing Office is located on the third floor in the Gold Wing. If you have any questions about your insurance or hospital charges, stop by or call our business office at
We know that health care costs add up quickly. We provide financial assistance so you can pay for the medical care you need.
To apply for financial assistance, you must fill out an application form. Application forms must be returned to Lakeview Hospital in-person, by mail or by fax. Patients will need to provide documentation verifying income (such as a federal income tax return) and information about current or potential health insurance coverage (such as Medicaid, Medicare or private insurance).
Information on eligibility, how to apply and how we calculate financial assistance is described in our financial assistance policy.
To find out if you qualify, contact our credit department at
Knowing how much your medical care will cost before you visit a doctor can help you plan for upcoming health care needs. We offer several different ways to estimate the cost of care at Lakeview Hospital and HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater.
Our Know Your Cost team members are here to help you understand the costs of different procedures. All you have to do is answer questions about the services you need. Then they’ll walk you through information about surgeries, imaging tests, lab work and other treatment options. Remember, this is just a cost estimate. Actual charges may be different based on the services you need.
You can use our online patient estimate tool to get a cost estimate and learn about how much you’ll likely pay out-of-pocket.
The federal government requires each hospital to post its standard charges reflecting each inpatient and outpatient service and items provided by the hospital.
Our standard charges may be far different than the amounts you are expected to pay. Lakeview Hospital has negotiated varying discounts with Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance plans. We can help you figure out how much you’ll have to pay if you call our business office at 1-844-977-2678. They can help you work with your insurance company to understand your actual out-of-pocket costs.
Our hospital-based clinics may charge a separate facility fee depending on your health insurance. This can result in a higher out-of-pocket expense. Contact our business office at
If you don’t have insurance, you may be eligible for self-pay discount or financial assistance. To learn more, please call our business office at

We’re required to keep an updated list of providers that offer emergency or other medically necessary care for Lakeview Hospital. This lists which providers are covered by our financial assistance policy and which are not.
