Jim Malecha is the retired President & CEO of Egan Company, a specialty trades contractor based in Brooklyn Park and currently serves the Company as a Strategic Advisor. Prior to joining Egan in 1999, he was with McGladrey & Pullen for 20 years, the last eight as a partner-in-charge of the Construction and Real Estate Group in the Minneapolis office. Jim has served on boards both locally and nationally, and is currently the President and a board member for the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) – St. Paul Chapter. He also serves on the Advisory Board for Hearts & Hammers – Twin Cities, and has previously held positions as treasurer and board member. Other former board involvement includes being board member and treasurer for Haiti Teen Challenge, and being on the finance and audit committee for Hope for the City's Board of Directors.
Originally from Faribault, Minn., Jim and his wife Corinne, reside in Lino Lakes and have two adult children. He is active in his church and enjoys hunting, fishing, sailing, skiing and spending time with his family and their two English Setters.
