At the Hudson Hospital Birth Center, our specialized team of doctors and nurses goes above and beyond to give you and your family the best experience possible as you welcome your little one into the world. You’ll find a soothing environment, private birthing suites and a variety of pain management options to help make labor and delivery more comfortable.
Our birthing program focuses not only on your inpatient care, but on providing support throughout your pregnancy and after you return home. From childbirth classes to delivery, breastfeeding support to postnatal care, we offer comprehensive services for mothers and babies.
At the Hudson Hospital Birth Center, we have the lowest C-section rate in the region – well below the national average. We’re known across the community for our caring staff and positive patient experiences. In fact, nearly 600 babies are born here each year. Learn more about our center and how your family can plan for your own beautiful beginning with us.
You’ve imagined how you want this day to go, and we’re here to help make that vision a reality. Whether you’re interested in a water birth, aromatherapy or you have a special playlist you’d like to listen to, our team will be by your side to give you peace of mind and expert care every step of the way.
Patient rooms are designed to be a calming space for birth and bonding with your little one.
We have special hydrotherapy tubs for laboring, as well as a water birthing suite.
Family members can enjoy our comfortable waiting area, kitchen and other amenities.
Breastfeeding is natural, but it doesn’t always come naturally. That’s why we developed the Lactation Program at Hudson Hospital Birth Center. This program supports families in their breastfeeding or breast milk feeding goals. We provide prenatal breastfeeding classes, in-patient support from lactation-certified nurses, as well as support when you return home by phone or appointment.
To learn more, visit our birth center services or call 715-531-6572.
We offer two different online prenatal classes to help prepare new parents for life with their little one. In our childbirth classes, you’ll learn about everything from the physical and emotional changes during pregnancy to childbirth and caring for your baby when you return home.
During our breastfeeding class, you’ll learn the benefits of breastfeeding for mom and baby, positioning techniques, partner's involvement, and information about choosing and using a breast pump.
Prior to your due date, we ask that you please complete and return the Birth Center Pre-registration Form. This helps reduce the time it takes to check in when you arrive.
There are multiple ways to return your completed form. You can drop it off in-person at the information desk, fax your form to 952-883-9727, or mail it to us at:
