Changes coming to Frequent Fitness
We’re excited to share three new ways for our members to achieve their fitness goals!
Starting January 1, 2020, HealthPartners will be replacing the Frequent Fitness program with the following well-being programs for individual and small group markets. There is no change to frequent fitness for large groups.
- Wellbeats is a digital fitness solution that offers fitness classes anytime, anywhere on-demand. It includes fitness videos led by certified instructors and offers 29 channels accessible on a computer, smartphone or tablet. This program will be available to members through their health and well-being experience.
This program will be available to individual and small employer plan members, as well as large group plans who have purchased a health and well-being package.
- GlobalFit offers discounts from 5% up to 20% on gym memberships at more than 9,000+ fitness facilities, weight loss programs, and wellness brands. GlobalFit also includes education, resources and tools to engage members in becoming active and adopting healthier behaviors. Please note that Lifetime Fitness and the YMCA do not participate in the GlobalFit network. All HealthPartners Members can access this discount and club network through a custom link on their account.
- The Active&Fit Direct™ is a gym discount program offered through American Specialty Health Fitness Inc. For a one-time $25 enrollment fee and a monthly $25 fee, members can use this program to access more than 9,000+ fitness centers nationwide. The Active&Fit Direct™ program will be available to all HealthPartners members as a healthy discount.

Please note, these are not reimbursement programs. This means that members will no longer receive a monthly reimbursement for going to a fitness club 12 times a month after December 31, 2019.
