Our Open Access plans feature the freedom to see any licensed dentist at any time. Both in-network and out-of-network benefits are the same, though members may enjoy greater value when choosing an in-network provider due to contracted discounts. With a network of 130,000 providers nationwide, it’s easy to take advantage of in-network savings.

We provide several Open Access plans, making it easy to choose the right solution for your business and employees. Plans have varying member deductibles, coinsurance amounts and annual maximums.

Open Access Advantage plans are available in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Like our regular Open Access plans, members can see any licensed dentist at any time. The “Advantage” comes through greater coverage when members see an in-network provider. With around 5,000 network providers across Minnesota and Wisconsin (plus 130,000 network providers nationwide), it’s easy for members to find higher-quality, lower-cost care.

When it comes to choosing the right Open Access Advantage plan for your business and employees, we provide several options with varying member deductibles, coinsurance amounts and annual maximums.

Preventive and Preventive Plus plans are available in Minnesota and Wisconsin:

• With Preventive plans, you can offer 100% in-network coverage for essential dental benefits like checkup exams, cleanings, sealants and regular X-rays.
• Preventive Plus plans go further by adding our Little Partners℠ dental benefit for members 12 and younger, as well as coverage for basic services like fillings, simple extractions and endodontics.

Both plans cover care through our Dental Open Access network, featuring around 5,000 network providers across Minnesota and Wisconsin along with 130,000 network providers nationwide through our alliance with Cigna.

Available in Minnesota, our Distinctions plans are designed with a two-tier network. With a tiered system, employees can enjoy greater choice in how they manage their care. The first tier features more than 300 highly respected dental providers, including the HealthPartners Dental Group. The second tier includes a wider network of 2,600 dentists throughout Minnesota and surrounding areas, in addition to nationwide access to more than 130,000 providers through our alliance with Cigna.

There are several Distinctions plans to choose from with varying member deductibles, coinsurance amounts and annual maximums. That makes it easy to find the right solution for your business and employees, including custom plan options for large groups.

Available in Minnesota, our Dental Options plans give both you and your employees the flexibility to select the right coverage for everyone’s needs. It begins with your choice of a plan that has either a $1,000 or $2,000 annual maximum. From there, your employees choose one of three options that best fits their needs:

• Dental Select – Our Select network, including HealthPartners Dental Group and other leading providers, offers the lowest premiums along with consistent quality care.
• Dental Open Access – Through the Open Access network, members can access our network of 2,900 providers throughout Minnesota and more than 130,000 providers nationwide.
• Any dentist – Members are covered for care from any licensed dentist, even if the provider isn’t in our network.
