When to call 911
If you or someone with you is facing a life-threatening situation such as loss of consciousness, breathing trouble or excessive bleeding, call 911. Emergency operators may be able to give you advice to help handle the situation while waiting for the paramedics/EMTS to arrive to provide aid and transport.

Each emergency situation is different. Shortly after you arrive, one of our registered nurses will evaluate your condition. This helps us make sure patients in the most immediate needs are treated first. You’ll be seen in order of the seriousness of your condition, as quickly as possible. Depending on the circumstances, you may need to wait to be seen.
Yes, we are here to help after a sexual assault. We have specially trained nurses and doctors who know exactly what to do in these situations. We’ll also help connect you with an advocate who will be by your side during your care.
Yes, your family can be with you in the emergency center. For your safety, we do limit visitors to one family member per patient in the waiting room. This helps reduce the spread of
A non-emergency condition isn’t life threatening. This could be a broken bone, sprain, flu symptoms, minor cut, rashes and other common conditions. These conditions can be very uncomfortable or painful, so we do our best to see you as quickly as possible. However, we will prioritize a patient with a life-threatening condition to ensure everyone gets the care they need when they need it.
