Regions Hospital Patient and guest support
Who can visit patients?

The safety of our patients and visitors is our top priority. We are working to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and protect all of us. For everyone’s safety, no visitors are currently allowed. Exceptions include:

  • Pediatric, newborn and special care nursery patients:  Two parents/legal guardians (COVID-19 patients: only one person)
  • Birth center patients: One support person and/or doula
  • Patients with disabilities: One designated person. This could be a family member, service provider or other individual that assists with managing the needs of the patient.
  • End-of-life compassionate care

We’re encouraging patients to find other ways to connect with their loved ones, such as FaceTime, Skype, Google Duo (PDF) or CaringBridge. Our patient care teams can help arrange video chats and more.

We require all patients and visitors to wear a mask or face covering. We’re also screening all patients and visitors for symptoms of COVID-19. To see if you should be tested for COVID-19, please visit our COVID-19 testing page.
