When you choose to train at HealthPartners, you are joining a team that strives to continuously improve the health and well-being of our patients. We offer training programs and experiences in a variety of disciplines and specialties in inpatient and outpatient settings.
The Office of Health Professional Education partners with program leaders and clinician educators to educate more than 700 residents and fellows and 1,200 students each year across our health system. We provide institutional resources and support for the training of many health professions at HealthPartners including:
Graduate medical education (physician residents and fellows)
Advanced practice clinician fellows and residents (physician assistants and nurse practitioners)
Pharmacy residents and students
HealthPartners Institute sponsors graduate medical education residencies and fellowships accredited by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) as well as Advanced Practice Fellowship training programs. In addition to our sponsored programs, we partner with the University of Minnesota and Hennepin Health to train residents and fellows in 25 specialties.
Resources include an accredited Clinical Simulation program located at Regions Hospital that trains over 10,000 participants annually.
