Ensuring that every person with diabetes receives the best possible care
Founded in 1967, International Diabetes Center (IDC) is known internationally for its experience and expertise in patient education, professional training, research, and models for patient-centered care and quality improvement. IDC has provided professional training to health care professionals locally and in more than 30 countries worldwide.
IDC believes in a patient-centered, team approach to diabetes care. We focus on the relationship between the patient, provider and educator to ensure that each receives the information and tools they need to improve patient health. We translate new research findings into clinical practice and discover innovative ways to use technology to improve diabetes care. IDC continues to shape the community – and the world – to help people live well with diabetes.
