Our educational organization emphasizes and models the delivery of exceptional high-quality care at an affordable price to our patients. We take great pride in seeing, year after year, that our trainees graduate with a solid foundation in understanding how to deliver efficient, high-quality care to enrich the medical environment locally and nationally.
Our department and faculty have achieved local and national prominence in medical societies and in development of programs and medical research.
Our residents and fellows have performed projects that improve the quality of health care and efficiency in delivering care in numerous areas, many of which have been implemented in practice.
We continue to align our work with the needs of the hospital, the health plan and the community. The success of our programs can be measured by the fact that in the 2016-2017 academic year alone, 18 Internal Medicine and Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residents joined our medical group as hospitalists or primary care physicians in internal medicine and its subspecialties.
