The Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport is an interdisciplinary research center. We’re leading a global effort to accelerate change for girls and women in sport and physical activity. We conduct solution-based research, translate knowledge, provide educational opportunities, and engage in community outreach that impact girls and women in sport and physical activity.

Melrose Center offers compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals of any age and gender facing anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, ARFID, & other eating disorders at five twin cities locations. We provide all levels of care-from brief outpatient visits to intensive residential treatment for those medically unstable. Our holistic, personalized model includes psychotherapy, medical care, nutrition counseling, & psychiatry. EMPOWERED Recovery and Wellness provides evidence-based breast cancer survivorship education and consulting to help women return to daily activities, fitness, and sport. Surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and endocrine therapy can cause lasting effects—impaired shoulder function, lymphedema risk, balance changes, pain, fatigue, and fear of movement—often long after care ends. We support sports medicine clinicians, fitness professionals, and breast cancer survivors with education, screening prompts, referral guidance, and tools to help women return to activities they love – safely.

Premier Sport Psychology empowers athletes to strengthen their mindset, confidence, and performance in sport and life. Our team of licensed professionals partners with athletes and teams to develop mental skills that support resilience, leadership, and sustained success. We deliver personalized, evidence-based support across all levels of sport.

The Alliance of Social Workers in Sports (ASWIS) is a collective voice for social workers to advocate and educate administrators and organizations about the breadth and depth social workers can uniquely bring to athletes and athletic culture. We provide a base for networking, educating, seeking consultation, and collaborating with this sub-specialized group of professionals. ASWIS provides an opportunity for social workers to develop a professional network of colleagues who can create a national (and international) movement to promote the safety and well-being of athletes of all ages and abilities.
