Brad Nelson, MD, is a professor and Sports Medicine Section Chair at the University of Minnesota Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a surgeon at TRIA Orthopedic Center. Dr. Nelson completed undergraduate studies at St. John’s University before attending the University of Minnesota Medical School. He then went on to complete Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Colorado and finally completed the John Feagin/West Point Army Sports Medicine Fellowship. He is a member of AOSSM, ISAKOS, Herodicus, and AAOS. Dr. Nelson has several publications.
